Description:
The Earth&Sun program shows the Sun Illuminated area of the Earth.
It also displays:
- The latitude and longitude of an Earth location.
- The time zone at that location, based on only longitude not civil boundaries.
- The current time at that location based on the above time zone.
- The sunrise and sunset times, and day length at that location.
- Distance between two locations on the earth surface.
- Earth&Sun can also be a real time clock on the Palm V or a Palm Simulator.

Don't load any outside data (Fatal Fault on my 515). Instead go to Set Ref. Place your Latitude and Longitude (if you don't know yours ask any pilot) Ask them for the GMT offset also. For example: Shreveport Louisiana is 32.5N latitude and 93.7W longitude with a GMT offset of 6. Click the Daylight time and your done.

This is an excellent piece of software! The favourite app on my visor!

I have been using version 1.2a of this software which also is handy for giving a close estimate of distance and bearing between my position and other positions on earth: this is of great interest to shortwave radio listeners, especially when aiming for points along the terminator (also shown)where ionosphere conditions mput reception at its best.
