Description:
This application is a simple ballistic calculator.
By inputting a range of variables such as bullet mass, muzzle velocity and distance Ballistic works out the following parameters:
- The required elevation on sights
- The wind allowance
- The velocity at the given distance
- The muzzle energy
- The bullet drop
The results can be solved for a single distance or a table of the results can be output. This software is free and may copied and distributed.
It should be noted that the results for the calculations are only valid for supersonic bullet velocities i.e. greater than 1200ft/s.

i have had the old Dos Version of Ballistic, but found their are times in the field i needed a chart to see what my holdover was, this program appears to be quite accurate, and very usefull for my purposes, I could use Departure angle of the bullet so i could keep the sight picture constant and vary loads and zero distances,, Otherwise, its a great product
