Initially, the solver worked great with first degree variable 'x', but when I started to enter 'x^2=2x+1' similar to the example from the program, the solver no longer worked. I quit the application, went back, and the solver still didn't work, even for a first degree 'x' variable. There is a bug somewhere. Other than the solver issues, normal calculations seem to work fine.

Saves my butt in physics class! by far the best calc for the palm i've tried, and maybe the best portable calculator period. only thing i haven't figured out is emulating a spreadsheet using lists. not sure it can do that.

It's an application that has been with me for many years, since I got my firs palm I guess in 2000. It's the best advanced calculator you can find for palm devices. It's a must have!!!

Great, exept few bugs hope new version solves that and add HiRes+ support. Dan learn to chek your mode, 5,25/0,15745 is ~30,35 in OCTAL mode.

Dan's claim that this program cannot divide 5.25 by .15745 is not true. I have no idea why Dan is having trouble (perhaps he has an old, buggy version of MathLib.prc?), but this program works perfectly - and calculates 5.25 / .15745 correctly - on my Zire 72.

I'm not sure why everybody is raving about this "little gem". It can't do simple division. Luckily I found this out in a lab class doing a simple calulation that didn't match a corresponding calcualtion that should have had the same answer. Try dividing 5.25 by .15745. Then try it on another calculator. This program has 30.34 and another basic calculator gets the correct answer of 33.34. Nice. Get what you pay for I guess. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I think this goes down in the unacceptable catagory.

This calculator is awesome. If wasn't going to spend 100 dollars on a graphing calculator, I would have spent 60 dollars on PowerOne Graph for Palm. This software is easy, "affordable ;)" and very nice. Thanks. For those who can't figure out how to change their language, I simply installed the english version, no problems at all. "Calc_en.prc". This is one of the best calculators for school/work ever. The calculator has graphing abilities(and table mode :), and a scientific cal built in aswell. My personal favorites are the fact that you can create your own functions in memopad such as Pythagorean T. If you are not in the mood to program, use the solver function. It's FREE, so what do you have to lose. It's a shame they don't put this cal in the top 5 programs. If I could give it a 100/100 I would

This a great program. My daughter needed a graphing calculator for school, but I didn't want to spend over $100 for a calculator that she will only use for one class. I did find out that when you install the program, you need to install the "en" program for the english version.

This program is definitely amazing and props to the author, but be aware users, there a number of bugs...check the project page on source-forge for a listing. I'm sure in time these bugs will be remedied, but for the time being, be aware of the limitations of your calculator (this applied equally well to the calculator you buy at staples!!!).

This is not only the best calculator for the Palm OS, but it is more paowerful, and thanks the the 33+MHz chip in most PDAs, faster that most graphing calculators. I have a TI-85, and since downloading this, I haven't used it. And to top it off, it's free (that beats $100+ for a graphing calc!).

I'm an Astrophysics and Computer Engineering Major, and I must say this is the best calculator program for the Palm OS. It can pretty solve all my problems thanks to its great features for storing functions and variables. The graphs also work admirably, and you can solve all kinds of equations with it over any interval. A must have for all scientists and engineers! Great job!

I d/l'd ver 1.01 long ago. Now I have 1.18 on my Clie' I havenn't used the basic calc that came with PalmOS in a looong time. This is a MUST HAVE for anyone that want's more then just the basics. I especially like that it saves previous answers for some time.

I'm a student trying to get a masters degree in applied mathematics. I MATLAB for the big problems but I use EasyCalc for the medium to small sized problems. The ability to create variables, functions, and graphs makes this a great calculator. Best of all It's GNU software. Nice work Ondrej!

This is the best calculator I've used on the Palm. I've been using it since the first day I got my Palm (way back in 1999. I've run it successfully on 3.5, 3.51, 3.52, 4.0 but when I upgraded to 4.1, it seems to be crashing my Palm Vx. But still, I'd give this program a two thumbs up!
