MortgageCalc is a free application that I developed using the plua language.
In addition to calculating the monthly payments, MortgageCalc displays the amortization schedule and allows you to explore how prepayments shorten the term of your mortgage and what savings can be achieved.

Very useful - am in middle of shopping around for mortgages and this handy tool saves me from using a calculator for tedious calculations!

It's great, but the #of month/years entry falls outside of my palm pda view.
