Description:
With the program SC-103PC (successor of the SC-102P) you get a powerful and freely available scientific calculator for the Palm platform.
Apart from scientific functions it also offers a full set of logical operations and conversions between different numeric systems (HEX, DEC, OCT, BIN).
Additionally the calculator offers a currency mode for easy conversions between 17 different currencies as far as calculations with mixed currency units.
The program is designed in a way, that it simulates the visual and operational aspects of a true calculator, such that the user will be immediately familiar with its interface.
The calculator program automatically adapts to single and multicolor devices.
High resolution displays of SONY Clié devices and devices with Palm Operating System 5 and higher are automatically detected and supported.
Available in three different languages: English, German and Esperanto.

10/09/03 - Bugfix Update V1.28:
- Base currency symbol was not displayed in the currency definition form, fixed.
- Display problem of RCL state indicator in currency mode fixed.
- Wrong conversion of signed numbers to the binary system fixed (was always 0).
09/28/03 - Update v1.26:
- Memory definition form which shows the contents of all memories implemented.

- Factorial calculation of non integer numbers now resultsin an error condition.

- The key combination [2nd¤][M+] is now supported asdescribed in the Instruction Manual.
- Font handling corrected. The large font should nowbe used on lower Palm OS versions (V3.0) too.

- Bugs concerning calculations in LOGIC mode fixed.
- Bugs concerning clipboard operations in LOGIC mode fixed.
01/19/02 - Bugfix update v1.1:
- Serious bug which occured when storing a value in memory location 1 ([STO][1]) fixed. This bug caused that the first currency unit will be overwritten an can yield to a system crash.
- In scientific mode the selected number format will now be respected when copying to the clipboard.

Great calculator. I use it all the time. As good as it gets for freeware. It would be nice if it supported 64 bit binary numbers (with a scroll screen perhaps?). Very nice though!

Interface loooks just like my Casio calculator, with the execption of the double line display.

This is a great calculator! It can even be used as a unit converter: you can redefine some of the currency exchange keys to whatever you want.

Very good. To be perfect it would need a unit converter. :-) (Incidentally, Ki -- pressing [=] to repeat the calculation is not a bug -- many real life calculators I've owned do that! It's a feature.)

I have seen some more complex calculators, but this one has the proper set of functions which you really need (see Zen of Palm) and also it's small enough.

Great calculator! Except that when the "equal" key is pressed repeatedly, the computed value increases. Just wondering if there is any consideration for fixing that? =]
