It can be used as replacement of built-in Mail.
You can use e*Mail free of charge. `e*' means `e + wildcard'. So `enhanced', `essential', `elementary', etc.

KNOWN PROBLEM
e*Mail will crash when exited if you move it to flash memory or other external flash memory of Palm devices, i.e. internal flash memory, Visor's springboard flash module etc.

This is a bug of development tools, prc-tools-2.0. e*Mail will be flash compatible when prc-tools-2.1 is available.

I installed this because on my main email client attempting to reply to a message and using backspace caused it to mess up the formatting. So I installed this and it fixed that problem, nice one. I deleted my old email client and then realised this has no built in conduit to actually get your email. Amateurish in the extreme, you should at least state this in the description now I have to grub around for the cd to reinstall my basic email client. Not impressed.

Using it on my Z22 to sync to FirstClass email with its palmsync software. Is able to sync using the author's mailstub program. Now I can sync everything with my Firstclass mail system!

This is a great little application! BUT... how can you get it working on a Palm Z22 and synchronize using Palm conduits towards Outlook (not Chapura PocketMirror)?

On a M10x you still have to install anther eMail application, because e*Mail can't do the hotsync by itself. ;-((
