You can see why this is free.. Don't use this if you need to rely on having your mail synched with your palm. Every now and again you'll find despite everything seeming to work ok you'll find your mail hasn't been updated and you're carrying around a useless app. It'll happen when you least expect it and when you start to rely on Eudora. As a bonus it also adds "Business, Personal and Unfiled" to your browser favourites. Wow thanks for that Eudora, I was just dumping all my links in any old way before you came along and repeatedly added categories. Delete them and they're back at the next synch. How patronising is that? A barely working product that has extra annoyances built in. If you can't/won't pay for something better it's bare bones functionality might be enough for you.

I am running a Zire 71 os 5.0 and as far as the web brower goes, it is better than xino but has some problems. I get a weird "direct access to fields->text no allowed" entry in every thing I enter in a web page. other than not supporting java script and not being able to enter anything in any pages, it works ok.

I can only comment about the e-mail syncing component, as I do not use the Web and online e-mail interfacees. Eudora is very good overall. Text entry is quick and efficient. You can easily look up addresses in the address book. However, there are some issues. You can only sync to a single POP account -it is impossible to sync to an IMAP mailbox.
The conduit does not synchronize your address book and thus you must enter all your e-mail contacts twice to be able to use them on the desktop. It seems that the program cannot handle the fact that you have deleted a message on the desktop and seperately on the handheld. I have a couple of recurring hotsync warnings that eudora cannot delete a desktop message that has already been deleted.
