Description:
Most people think the HotSync will save the whole data contained on the Palm and this is enough to restore it after a power failure or other cause for data loss.

But the normal HotSync only saves the databases (all data/app is is internaly stored in databases) that has the so called "backup-bit" set.

Many 3rd party applications that store data on the palm do not set this bit, so the data isn“t HotSynced (I lost many SMSs and mails this way ...).

SyncAll fixes this problem.
SyncAll sets the backupbit of all databases every time the Palm is switched on (needs <1 second).

This causes the HotSync to save all (!) databases and not only some.

If you use SyncAll you could be sure to get back all the data after a data loss .... so better use it :)

Update Description:
v1.4.1 05-april-2003:
- Fixed some minor bugs

v1.4 03-april-2003:
- No more beeping on resets
- Added functionality, you can set the changedbits manually and cause a full HotSync manually
- Improved helpscreen

v1.3 24-december-2002:
- SyncAll works on OS5/Tungsten
- Corrected user-info-screen (got some mails from confused users)

v1.2 (01-october-2002):
- Now supports OS that do not feature notification-manager (on these systems you simply have to start SyncAll from time to time)
- SyncAll tells you if your system feature the notification-manager and if it works automatically or if it needs to be started by hand.

This program used with the Today program causes errors that will freeze my handspring visor neo everytime I turned it on after a few seconds I deleted this and it worked fine.

Thanks, Sebastian. My Prism crashed last night, forcing me to do a hard reset. Fortunately, SyncAll came to the rescue and I was able to install all my databases. This little app does its job in the most unobstrusive way. I wish, however, that it could save all application preferences so that individual settings are preserved after the back-up files are re-loaded.

What an excellent app! I used to keep a 'DB' program around to set the backup bit but this one does it automatically.
