Description:
This is the famous four volume V. I. Dal' dictionary, converted with permission from http://vidahl.agava.ru for Plucker 1.6.
It requires KOI8-R fonts. My converted anti-aliased URW Cyrillic fonts for Plucker will work fine with it.
This includes, near the top, a list of words with transliterations between slashes.
Thus, you can look up a word either by going through the index on the home page or by searching for the word in transliteration.
For instance, you can search for "dokru" (in Latin characters--no localization needed) you'll find the entries for dokruglyat', dokrupit', dokruchivat', etc. as well as any words (there don't seem to be any) with "dokru" in th emiddle.
If you want to search for words that start with "dokru", you can search for "/dokru".
This works particularly well with the ARM-accelerated search in Plucker 1.6.
