Gene is a database viewer for molecular bilogists. I made this application for my work.
However, as I think Gene will also help other researchers, I open this application in my homepage.

3. Restriction enzyme database (covers TOYOBO, Boehringer and NEB)
4. Molecular weight markers (1kb ladder, lambda/Hind III, phai-x 174/Hae III)

This is absolutely great! The base of restriction enzymes is the best utility I've ever used on my Palm device. A must have for every molecular biologist!

Gene.prc caused my Handspring Palm OS 3.1H to have a unrecoverable error. My unit only recovered after a hard reset which meant I lost all of my data and had to resynch.

The program is really good. It has the essentials that a molecular biologist needs. Also, you can get around easily with the interface. However, it would be helpful if structures for the nucleic acids would be included. Thanks.
