The flash card application itself is very good, but the US<>UK database, although quite comprehensive contains.....oddities and should probably not be considered definitive and certainly not prescriptive. I think some of the UK english terms must be regional, since I've never even heard of them, others are no longer in common usage (the US english equivalent having been incorporated into the language for some time). Probably useful for people trying to understand what they are hearing in the other tongue, but if you use it to try to be understood by people while you are abroad, you may well become the subject of mirth. A fair effort though.
