Description:
iLarn is a game for the PalmPilot (or other handheld computer that runs the Palm OS), it is open-source freeware available under the GPL. It is derived from Ularn, also known as Ultra-Larn.
iLarn is a "rogue-like" game. These games are text-based and have a familiar premise: wander around in a dungeon, collect treasure, deal with bad-tempered monsters, try to finish a quest.

Oddly entrancing. I've played it for hours and not beaten the game. How deep does this stinkin' dungeon go?!? MANY spells, items, potions, etc.

Hey you .. CAN SAVE .. clone on the menu THE LEFT HAND MENU CLONE SOON..it saves your place when you leave and come back!!! just use your clone and youll be OK :o) AS YOU GET THINGS! and get real far! then you can die and itll say regenerate or soemthign aor use my clone! use the clone then go back oin clone again incase somethign happens! This game is very good. Though its simple and like rogue, its fun with the stores, banks and stuff. Too bad your cant save. Great game!

Excellent game. What's wrong with it? Nothing. There is no save game, but it saves itself -- until you die. And the latest version lets you clone yourself, which is a 'form' of saving. This is my alltime favorite palm game, used it for hours!!! Problem is I haven't solved it yet...

This is a "must download" for any Palm user looking for a decent game. Once you're familiar with the symbols the game is HIGHLY addictive.

I am 100% hooked on ILarn. I'd agree with the no-save complaint except it adds a whole new dimension to the game. You die, then you're dead. Period. It makes you more cautious w/an experienced person, and less with a wimp. This game is very addictive, and I still haven't solved it even though I've gone through a TON of batteries w/this game!

This game is wonderful, though it is simple it is very fun! The not being able to save thing stinks but it is great.
