A note from the developer: Just to let everyone know that improving the word list is high on the agenda for the next version of Target. I'm not sure when I will get a chance to release this version, though, since this is a hobby project. BTW, thanks for the positive feedback.

Further to my review, examples of words not accepted are "does," "gram," "nosiest," and "feces". However, this doesn't bother me so much as the fact that accepted words include "c*nt" and "ni**er". (Yes, they're exactly what you think they are.) I'd really appreciate it if Mr. Sloane would find an altogether different word list for this game.

The game is great, and very addictive. Two suggestions: I prefer shorter games; perhaps a feature that asks for the minimum and maximum number of words when generating a puzzle? Also, as I'm not Australian, there are times when I'm not too happy with the word database. Acceptable words include some abbreviations like "BLDG" and Roman numerals like "LVII" and European spellings (e.g. "APOLOGISE"). As well, I've found a few common words in some games that are not accepted because they aren't in the database. Would it be possible to have different databases depending on which version of English the player is most used to? Thanks for making this game, and for making it free!

This is one of my favorite games in the newspaper and now it is always handy. It's great that this update has come up now as just yesterday 10/12/06 I installed 'TargetAssistantLite' ( see a few apps previous to this) to check it out and it wiped the Target Game icon off my TX. I had to uninstall 'TargetAssistantLite' as I really want this game. So make a choice, mine is obvious.

This crashes my Palm Vx and causes a soft reset. Looks like a great game though, wish I could use it! (I installed the original database included in the zip file and tried reinstalling 3 times. No luck.)
