Description:
WordWiggle is a game where you try to find as many words in a jumble of letters as you can.
Currently, the Palm version is limited to playing practice games.
The goal is to be able to play multi-player WordWiggle tournaments that are held on WordWiggle.com. (This is harder than it looks due to security issues.)
The WordWiggle dictionary is available as a separate download.
The dictionary format compresses the 173,500+ word / 1,750K+ byte dictionary down to around 350K! (About 16.1 bits per word!)
Update Description:
A minor usability update:
- Entry of a word can now be done by double-tapping the last letter of the word. This allows you to enter words a bit faster as you don't have to tap the "keep" button at the bottom of the screen.
- On PalmOS devices prior to PalmOS v3.5, the double-tap feature is disabled due to limitations with the PalmOS code.
- During the entry of words, the last tapped letter is shown inverted rather than blank such that you can tell what was last selected without having to look at the bottom of the screen where the word is being built.

I like this game a lot. You don't need the dictionary to play, but you'll want it anyway, and it's quick and easy (and free) to download.

Excellent game, but the dictionary is still overbearingly US based. Many non-US English words just aren't there or the spelling is different. Inevitable I suppose, but frustrating nonetheless.

This is a really nice game and runs perfectly too. I have spent many hours playing it and everyone I show it to likes it a lot. It saved me from boredom many times when I had to wait for something. A great one! ;)

Wow! I awas searching all over for a Boggle-like game and I'm glad I found this on! The dictionary is a little hard to get(At Wordwiggle.com, you must register to download it), But it's worth it!!!!!!!

A very strong application; I tried other Boggle variants (all of which were shareware) and didn't like them as much as this one. The dictionary is worth the additional effort to obtain.

I have always liked word games and Boggle in particular. This game is very much like Boggle and this implementation is great. It is amazing how many words can be found in a random set of letters. I used to think I was very good at this game. Now I know I could get much better.The process of getting the dictionary is a bit annoying in that it does not come with the game. However, the quality of the dictionary is remarkable. BTW - Version 0.18 is available and has many advantages over the older versions.
