Description:
Are you expecting a baby? Every pregnant woman and labor coach needs a copy of Contraction Timer! It takes the math away from labor.

Use the big buttons to keep a log of contractions, while Contraction Timer automatically calculates the most important information for your midwife or doctor: the frequency of the contractions and their duration. No stylus required! It's better than a stopwatch.

You can keep notes about the labor, too. When you're done you can save the log to the MemoPad for later editing and printing.

It also has an elapsed time counter for labor coaches! It even beeps and flashes when contractions come closer than 3 minutes apart.

After the birth, the note-taking feature lets you use Contraction Timer to keep track of breastfeeding times or diaper changes!

Features:
- Stylus-free operation for basic functions
- Extensively tested
- Works on all version of PalmOS
- Used by midwives and doulas: you know it can handle anything you throw at it!
- Adapative display for long time intervals
- Note-taking capability
- Export to MemoPad
- FREE!

Update Description:
v2.12.3 (11/9/03):
- Implemented CSV export.
- Added GPL notices, released as Free Software.

v2.12.1 (9/7/01):
- Added detailed time information in the Details dialog.
- Quashed a nasty bug that may have caused crashes when scrolling off the top, or without a contraction log.

v2.11.1 (7/6/01)
- Added adaptive timer printouts: times are now printed as 3h27 instead of the more confusing 207:21, for instance.
- Also fixed a bug with elapsed time due to the adaptive time routine.

v2.10.3 (6/20/01)
- Added log splitting for text logs greater than 4KB.
- Now long labor logs are saved to the desktop properly after HotSync.

I just gave birth to my baby four weeks ago. I breastfeeding her, and as she doesn't wake up all the time for the next round I am not sure that she gets her fair share. This app let's mee keep track of all her feedings.

When I had my first child in 2003, I spent the first night of early labor scribbling on paper in the dark. Thank god my husband found this online -- so easy to use and takes all the guesswork out. It's hard enough to concentrate during contractions, but counting the mins/secs? Forget it! I'm about to deliver my second child, and am SO happy to have this sitting in my palm next to the bed, waiting along with me for labor to start. I have also shared this with my mom's group!

I was expecting our 2nd child, and wanted to keep track of my contractions. This software was excellent! When my doctor had questions about my contraction I was able to let her know how many I had and how long they were. Great for when you are by yourself and you don't have a watch nearby to keep track of the time.

I will be expecting my first baby in April and I am glad to have this software. Tested on my M500 - OK. Thanks.

When my son was about to be born, my wife began having contractions at about 2am. Unfortunately, I had come to bed at about 1:30am, after having worked all night and the previous day. She woke me up each time a contraction started or ended, and I used this program to time them. It was all I could do to stay awake (okay, so I fell asleep a lot!) but with this program, I was still able to time (most of) the contractions. When we have our next one, you can bet your bottom dollar I'll be using this again. (It's still installed on my visor, btw.) This is a great program; if you or your partner (or someone you know) is pregnant, download this now!
