A very intrigueing piece of software - well thought out and designed. As a doctor in Australia, using completely electronic records on a desktop, one of the challenges is how to record things when out of the rooms, or where desktops are not accessible. This fills a niche in that role, and allowing the records to be exported to the Memo pad (and obviously then sync'd with the desktop later) is an extremely useful function. It would be interesting to allow generation of electronic prescriptions as well by IR printer, as this program could act as a "back up" in case of power outages - the bane of the EMR. What would make this more interesting would be integration into or with a desktop EMR program. At the end of the day, records are still a form of communication, and while this is a good recording tool, the challenge is integration. For what it does, this program is worth 5 stars.
