True to the Zen of Palm, this freeware program does one thing only and does it surprisingly well.
It plays the tones for the six strings without fuss, fanfare or heartache. Version 2 allows the tone to be played continuously.
Use it when your guitar goes out of tune. OS 6 supported.

My kid got a guitar for his birthday (02/2010). Having this on my Treo 680 is major convienent. Guitar is in tune and he is having fun.

Yeh this app works fine, it would be good if you could use the mic for it on some plams.

It seems to work well except the pitches sound 2 octaves higher than the open strings, but playing a harmonic at the 5th fret gives the same tone. Installed easily.

It should be noted that this program just generates the six notes of standard guitar tuning. It doesn't listen to your guitar and tell you if it is flat or sharp.

Very nice. It's simple, and it works. The better the Palm, the better the pitch. My T|C works real well.
