What is meant by tongues? Does it refer to real languages? Or to useless gibberish that someone "claims" to interpret?
Of what value are tongues in today's churches? Are tongues proof of conversion or only of ego and immaturity?

This is a great article and very informative for those who really want to know the truth on the doctrine of tongues. I rememember when I was young child attending churches that claimed that they spoke in tongues and I was deeply bothered why "God" did not give me this same so called "gift". I had the feeling of being rejected by "God" because I had not received this "gift". I am so glad that I was not decieved as a young child into believing this lie.
