PrettyMap is a shareware GIS program, which lets you view vector and raster maps and images (such as country boundaries, world cities, rivers, buildings, streets, satellite photos, digital elevation models and topographies), search in geographically-referenced data, visualize and analyze spatial information, extend your knowledge with the educational quiz, and edit your own simple maps.

• Major cities (2533 cities described by 9 database features: name, admin name, status, population rank and class, port ID, ...)
• Major lakes (33 lakes described by 4 database features: name, area, surface elevation, depth)
• Major rivers (98 rivers described by 2 database features: name and system)
• Time zones (38 zones described by 1 database feature: time offset)
• Canada regions (12 regions described by 7 database features: name, type, ...)
• USA states (51 states described by 51 database features: area, population, statistical information, ...)
• US airways (2126 airways)
• US airports (6734 airports described by 1 database feature: name)

You can use these maps to learn geography. The teacher mode will focus on the areas you have problems with.
