I've used Datebk and Today. Both of them are very good applications. After I have tried this one, I know what is excellent. This small size application gives exactly the functions I need. Several customizable views let you view your agenda and tasks easily. A summarzized view lets you see all your schedules of the week. Tab on a day and the detail will be shown. Thanks very much for making this free application! Good Job!!!

4/04/05 Just downloaded the A5 supplement, it complements the Datebook app quite well on my Treo650. And it has extra icons too! Thank you for a great app.

Undoubtedly an excellent software. I use it with my Clie and like the other users consider it as the best freeware I have ever downloaded. Moreover, Ronald helps you configure your hacks & icons to further custom the display. congratulations.

A5 is by far the best 3´rd party calender app out there. It is not over-cluttered with useless features but at the same time equipped with all the necessary possibilities you want from an organizer. Competent support, great icons and the possibility of using the T3 screen to its full potential makes this app a killer. And it Free!!

Wondeful app. I worked with Datebk3,4,5, with Agendus, with DateMan. I tested all off them throughout (IMHO - and for my own needs) but this app is best. Quick, lean, does all the important stuff. eg. I always thought I was quick with datebk5 but then I had some embarrassing situations when I wanted to *quickly* add a couple of events and all the paper guys and girls were faster. With a5 I outrun them again. Thank you! :)

A5 is the best weekly organizer for Palms and Clies. I have been testing the Pre-Beta version in my CLIE TH-55, and it has many features (full screen, icons, high res. color, etc.) The Datebook is integrated with address book so you can easily enter a contact, and Datebook is integrated with the ToDo so you can quickly add a Datebook item to the ToDo. I have many items in my datebook and ToDo, and so far A5 has access them very quickly. I havae tried Agendus (Action Names, DateBook 4, etc.) and rate it far superior to them. Also Ronald has been great in responding to me for support and questions., Try it-you will like it.

I thought, finally a format that resembles my paper pocket calendar I carry at work; along with my Clie. And free. Up grading it makes it even more valuable. Great work.

This was an essential program with my Clie T665C. I recently moved over to a Zire 71 and it crashes there. Please make it OS5.2 compatible. My undyung gratitude if you do.

Once again Ronald you do not disappoint. What can I say that has not already been said? This program just keeps getting better. Thanks for the continued enhancements, it is much appreciated. I eagerly look forward to the next update. Cheers ;-)

Quite nice but: deleting an event crashes my system!

This is a very nice program with its capability of categorizing eventsss. But those who use handera beware, after I tried it on my handera, it messed up the system datebook display and I was unable to restore it to its original state!

I compare A5 to a Chopin nocturne or prelude: each new feature springs wonderfully from the organic logic and overall design of the composition. Keep it up, Ronald.

Works great on my Treo. I'm the managing partner of a law firm. I use it to keep track of my cases, clients and other lawyers. My personal schedule is also there. The icons and customizable colors are great.

The only problem I have with this application is that I get double alarms for every event. A reset gets rid of them, but I don't want to reset everytime I put in a new event. I still use the app regaurdless.

Best week view software for the Palm! The support is excellent, too (couldn't open A5 from within "Today", told it rg and received a "tuned" version of A5 several hours later). Great! And thanks for making it free.

Great program, I use it every day! I was wondering if anyone knew how I might get more icons for it? A special thanks to the programer for making this free!!!

It's already the best and it keeps on getting better and better!

Great program. It is very usuful to be able to see a complete list of daily schedules and TTD. Would be that much better if it was indented more to the left so that you could read more of the line at first glance. It is however a wonderful tool. The best calendar I've seen so far. Thanks for sharing.

If there's a Palm software that weds asesthetics and functionality to a rare degree, this is it. A5 has been so vastly improved since its first release that I have now bade Agendus (Action Names) farewell.

Great program. 5 stars when it supports full screen on NR70V.

Great on a high-res display (Clié) and if you don't have too many items per day. Gives a much better overview than the standard date book. Includes some nice features like custom colorizing the background of each day of the week, or showing the current time in the title bar.

It is a good starting page for my palm.
***** [Feb 22, 2002] by Soojong Choe
Compact but very strong.
***** [Feb 5, 2002] by Edgar
Looks promising, but since screen real estate is tight there should be an option to disable the display of priority etc.
***** [Jan 18, 2002] by Charles Braine
Excellent application. Just one question. Why so much space to the left of each entry wasted? A small drop-down help would be useful too (to explain TNE). Keep up the good work.
***** [Jan 18, 2002] by Bob T.
Works ok on my Vx...except when I drag and paste entries....it doesn't drag the alarm setting too, just the text info.
