Description:
This application displays a photo after selecting an entry on PalmOS standard Contact App (Address or Contacts).
Requires JpegLib installed on handheld.
Installing:
- Install JpegLib (required);
- Install ContactPhoto;
- Install the resource file, eg.: You have a Tungsten E/Spanish. Open the file "Tungsten E Only" and install the "Contacts-PAdd_esES.PRC". Remember : ONLY install the file for your handheld and current language. Installing incorrect resource files can make Address Book / Contacts application unusable. If this happens to you, see the FAQ.
Using ContactPhoto:
- Place a picture under /Palm/Programs/ContactPhoto, using the contact's name as the image name (eg.: Polly Jean Harvey). Don't forget the .jpg extension !
Known Issues:
- (All) Don't put images larger than 256x256. JpegLib is slow and doesn't have a good resizing.
- (TT3) Image isn't redrawed when DIA changes;
- (All) You must use an expansion card;
- (All) Best image sizes are 32x32, 64x64, 128x128 or 256x256;

About that "problem": Just get a file explorer (I recommend FileZ, download it from www.nosleep.net) and delete the file called "Address Book_(your language)". There are 2 of these files. Delete the one that doesn't have the chip icon next to it.

Likewise, when deleted, it leaves an empty space on the Palm Address Book. This is unacceptable. Anyone installing this must be prepared for this 'uninstallable' part. Looking for solution to this problem too.

I was hoping to be able to put pictures of my friends with their contact information, however it only has cartoons. When I noticed this and deleted it, a space was left behind from where the picture once was. This is very irritating. If you know how to fix this please tell me.
