Description:
FlipHack is a HackMaster hack for PalmOS that lets you rotate your screen 90, 180, and 270 degrees (and continue using your device).
There is some slowdown, but it is usable.
Released under GPL.
Source code is available from my web site.
Hoshi Takanori has released a DA to activate FlipHack from any application (using a DA launcher). It's called FlipDA.
Update Description:
- Visor Prism supported w/ hardware rotation;
- Sony Clie supported (via a separate patch);
- Supports X-Master 1.2 better;
- OS 3.5.2 listed as supported;
- Dragonball VZ listed as supported;
- Slightly better error reporting.

I agree it seems to have great potential, but I tried it on my SJ22 and it just don't work... Canīt wait for the next update.

I thought it was a cool idea. I tried it on my Clie SJ22, and got a message saying it hadn't been tested on 4.1. Well, I tried it anyway, and it messed up my whole display. Had to soft reset.

My gosh, I disagree!! This has got to be THE COOLEST HACK I've come across. I flip and rotate the screen just for normal usage!!! AWESOME! No problems with my visor.

This is one of those hacks that has the potential to be stunningly brilliant in the simplicity of the concept, but unfortunately it does not seem to work flawlessly on the Vx. Exchanging quite a few files recently using Launcher III, the standard App Launcher, and self-beaming applications and more often than not the flipped screen did not display correctly, let alone adequately. I would be happy to look at this again when it gets upgraded next, as it really fills a niche that PalmOS needs filling !!
