Usage varies. But I use it to power off from another app.
It doesn't do much, so I offer it as freeware!
I guess the price beats its features!

Thank you so much for the Off It app. My T/X on/ off button conked out, I thought something was pressing on it in my bag and made it stick. I didn't know there was defect with the on/off button. This app is simple, yet very awesome. Thanks again.

Essential if you have a Tungsten - the power button is bound to fail sometime. This allows you to substitute another (better engineered) button.

An excellent small application. I have a Palm Tungsten E. I have learned, the hard way, that they have defective power buttons. I can now use the Task button to turn it on and this appl. to turn it off. The PDA is in good working condition so this appl. solves the power off condition.

Thank you, Useful little utility that will help me stretch my battery between recharges. I just installed on my M130 and works great so far. My power button doesn't work anymore so I've had to start my palm using the other buttons. Unfortionately there isn't a way to shut the power off except by waiting for the palm to time out or to change the pen stroke to shut off and lock. But I don't want to type in my password every time I open my palm. Your utility solved my problem.
