Yes, the soft reset can be customized.
With RNS:: Soft Reset you can:
- Perform a soft reset with a single tap.
- Choose whether to calibrate the digitizer on every soft reset or not.
- Change the application that is launched after every soft reset.
Warning!
This program changes settings, which are officially made available by the system.
However, some PDAs and/or application seem to be incompatible with such changes.

- OS Version

Running Palm Zire and application works with no errors. All functions work as stated.

This hangs my Palm V upgraded to OS 4.0 with a checksum error. This does not mean the app is unacceptable, only that if your upgraded hardware has a checksum error, you should not use this app.

WARNING - Ver. 1.0 caused a 'fatal exception' on my Palm m500, OS 4.1. Simple SoftReset worked fine but with option 'Launch my Launcher' I ran into a cycle of fatal ex... errors. Nothing helped, finally I had to do a hard reset. Glad I have BackupBuddyVFS. Good idea, if only it worked.
