The Sprint Treo 600 Updater 1.10 improves your device's performance with these changes:
Corrects SMS Messaging with Sprint's new network SMS implementation
Fixes web browser cookie corruption and cookie size management
Enables the use of numbered keys to navigate pages on Sprint's mobile website
Corrects provisioning issues that have occurred on a small number of devices
Install this updater ONLY if:
You have a Treo 600 on the Sprint PCS network.
You meet the other requirements for installation.
Do NOT install updater if:
You have a Treo 600 on the AT&T, Cingular, Rogers AT&T, or T-Mobile networks. This updater is only for the Sprint version of the Treo 600.
You have a Treo 90, 180, 180g, 270 or 300, or any device other than the Sprint Treo 600 smartphone.
Installation: Windows (see the requirements):
Make sure your Treo 600's battery is fully charged.
Make sure you have at least 4.0 MB (4,000 K) free memory on your device (how to do this).
Installation instructions:
- Unzip the file you just downloaded (Treo600SprintUpdater1_10.zip).
- Double-click the file you unzipped (Treo600SprintUpdater1.10.exe).
- Follow all instructions in the installation wizard that will appear.
Macintosh note: At this time, the Sprint Treo 600 Updater 1.10 is available only for Windows. palmOne is currently researching the possibility of providing a Mac version, but it will require Sprint and PalmSource approval. We apologize for the inconvenience. In the mean time, please use a Windows computer to install the Sprint Treo 600 Updater 1.10.
